Your Unique Life Story

Your “unique life story” may be the most valuable asset you bring to your peer advisory group.  Author of True North Groups, former CEO of Medtronics and Harvard Business School Professor Bill George talks about the value of one’s unique life story.

Bill was kind enough to answer some questions for us earlier this year on Executive Street, and equally generous in posting a piece that I wrote back in February on his own blog, which I highly recommend you check out from time to time.

In this short video, Bill talks about the power of our own unique stories and the perspective born from these personal narratives.  His examples drive the point home.   Wonder why the peer advisory group experience is so powerful and effective?  I tend to believe it’s our stories more than our skill sets.  What do you think?
