Mark Moses

A lifelong entrepreneur, Mark Moses started his first company at age 19, growing it to 250 branches with 3,000 employees before he sold it in 1992. He then co-founded a mortgage company that reached heights not seen in many businesses: #10 on the Inc. 500 list of fastest growing privately-held companies in the U.S., as well as being recognized as the #1 fastest growing company in Los Angeles. Along the way, Mark received a prestigious Ernst & Young “Entrepreneur Of The Year” award and the “Blue Chip Enterprise Award for Overcoming Adversity” from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Mass Mutual.

Mark Moses knows that a CEO doesn’t grow a business, but grows people who grow the business. When he wanted his young company to “Think Big,” he rode into the annual meeting atop an 8,000 pound African elephant. The elephant became an instant mascot and “thinking big” became a permanent part of the corporate culture. For his unconventional approach to motivating his team, Mark garnered media attention and recognition from the business community.

An avid sportsman, Mark was the 1992 U.S. National Squash Champion and recently completed seven Ironmans, including the legendary Hawaii World Championship. Mark’s guts, determination, and intense focus continue to drive him to compete – he has a personal commitment to complete an Ironman and a marathon on each continent in the next 5 years.

Today, Mark’s focus is firmly on family, personal achievement and sharing his experiences and life lessons in his roles as coach, mentor and professional speaker. He brings his boundless energy, engaging style, powerful message and wealth of experience to clients and audiences around the world, delivering take-home value on topics such as Leading in Turbulent Times, Overcoming Adversity in Business and in Life, 21 Steps to Creating a High-Performance Corporate Culture, The Path to Building a $100 Million+ Company, and Growing Sales in a Down Economy

A busy husband and father of two, Mark’s family comes first, an important lesson driven home in 2004 when Mark’s 4-year old son was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Fully recovered and thriving today, Mason (Mark’s son) and the rest of the family are tireless advocates for children’s health issues in their community of Orange County, California, where Mark serves on the board of the Children’s Hospital of Orange County. In the past two years, he has raised over $300,000 for the hospital. In all he does, Mark strives to “make a difference”, and he delivers!
