Tom Sullivan

Thomas M. Sullivan is senior vice president for Small Business Policy at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Working with the Chamber’s nationwide network, he translates the voices of small businesses into federal policies that strengthen free enterprise and reward entrepreneurship. He also leads the U.S. Chamber’s Small Business Council, increasing member engagement and input on Chamber initiatives.
Tom’s advocacy career has included creating the legal center at the National Federation of Independent Business, serving as General Counsel at the Bipartisan Policy Center, and building the Innovative Lending Platform Association. He was unanimously confirmed by the Senate to serve as SBA Chief Counsel for Advocacy during the George W. Bush administration and remains active in the Bush-Cheney Alumni network. Tom is also a graduate of the Chamber’s 4-year Institute for Organization Management (IOM) credential program.

Tom serves on the boards of Saint Leo University, Free Enterprise Partners, and the Global Entrepreneurship Network. He and his wife live in Virginia and have two sons in college.
