San Diego, November 7, 2011 Vistage Chair Jack McGuinness has recently launched a new Chief Executive group in Washington D.C. McGuinness new Vistage group will meet monthly to discuss business issues, share expertise, and provide one another confidential help in critical situations. McGuinness is one of nearly 400 Vistage Chairs who lead local area groups, which total more than 15,000 members in 15 countries.
Vistage Chair Greg Behm applauded McGuinness success: Jack will do very well as a Chair both because he has been a member and knows what that is like, and because he is passionate about being the best he can be in serving his members. His direct style, his approach that is clearly peer to peer, and his ability to create a safe environment for his members will help build a high-performing group.
Jack is a seasoned business leader with a passion for helping executives strengthen their professional and personal effectiveness. His development as a leader started early in his career as an Airborne Ranger Infantry Officer with the US Army’s prestigious 10th Mountain Division. As a principal and owner of the two boutique management consulting firms, he has worked to strengthen the effectiveness of hundreds of leaders in organizations across multiple industries. Jack experienced the impact of peer advisory groups as a group member when he was the CEO and owner of a packaging company. Jack received his BS in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from the Iona College Hagan School of Business.
