Peter J. Campbell

Peter is a Managing Partner at Education Growth Partners. He has over 20 years of experience successfully investing in, and helping drive the scaling of, high-growth education, media, and information services firms.

Peter began his career by providing senior and subordinated debt financing for leading high-growth media and information services firms at the Bank of New England, after which he joined Burr, Egan, and Deleage, the path-breaking growth equity firm focused on growth companies in the media and content services sectors. He then worked as a senior operating executive for several years before he was named a Partner at Generation Partners, a $345 million growth equity firm where he focused on the education sector for over 10 years.

In addition to his investing experience, Peter has a passionate interest in social entrepreneurship, having served for nine years on the Board of Trustees of the Echoing Green Foundation, which has provided seed funding to over 500 social entrepreneurs.

Peter holds a B.A. from Middlebury College and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.

Kerry D. Hatch

Kerry is the CEO of Gocella, a software start-up in New York City. Additionally, she is an active angel investor and on the Board of Plastiq, a new payment alternative for high ticket purchases. Kerry has also been as consultant to start-ups and Fortune 100 companies in the payments and digital advertising arena.

Previously, Kerry worked for Time, Inc. as the CEO and President of QSP, a $300MM for-profit school product fundraising business that sells magazine subscriptions, food and gift products. Prior to that, she was President of the St. Regis and Luxury Collection businesses for Starwood Hotels. Previously, she was the CEO and President of Goodtimes Entertainment, which was sold to two strategic buyers in 2005.

For the first 22 years of her career, Kerry worked for American Express Travel Related Services in its card issuing, merchant, and travel businesses. During her last four years, she was President of OPEN: The Small Business Network and a member of the Global Management Team.

Kerry earned a MBA from the Columbia Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Brian Jacobsen

Brian Jacobsen serves as an Advisory Partner for TowerBrook Capital Partners, where he has served in a variety of capacities since 2006. Brian also serves on the Board of Directors for Wilton Brands Inc., one of the largest food and paper crafting companies in the U.S., and for BevMo!, one of the nation's largest specialty retailers of alcoholic beverages.

Previously, Brian was Chief Financial Officer and Director of Retail Operations of Truefitt & Hill, N.A., a men's shaving and grooming products company. Brian was the co-founder of CombineNet, Inc., a consulting services and optimization software company focused on corporate sourcing and supply chain initiatives, where he held a number of roles including Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Brian also worked as a private equity investment professional at Madison Dearborn Partners and as an investment banker at Goldman, Sachs & Co.

Brian earned his B.S. from the University of Illinois and received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Brian Nairn

Brian is the Operating Partner at Education Growth Partners, with an extensive background as an operating executive in the education and information services industries. He has successfully managed several growth businesses, with a particular expertise in managing technological change in content businesses, and driving the growth of smaller companies. Brian was most recently the CEO of Elsevier Health, which he grew from $650 million to $1.6 billion in seven years. He also initiated and executed nine growth-oriented transactions during his tenure at Elsevier, each of which experienced double-digit revenue and EBITDA growth post-acquisition.

Before he joined Elsevier Health, Brian spent more than 20 years serving some of the most recognized names in publishing in senior leadership positions. He was President and COO of Cahners Business Information, an $800 million U.S.-based provider of magazines, data, and online services across widespread geographic locations and multiple, diverse vertical markets.

Born in Scotland, Brian was educated at St. Andrews University in the UK, Pennsylvania State University, and the University of Iowa.

Travis Nelson

Travis is a Managing Director of TowerBrook Capital Partners. Prior to joining TowerBrook, he was a Managing Director and co-founder of Pacific Partners. Previously, Travis was an investment professional at Goldman Sachs, Oak Hill Capital Partners and Freeman Spogli & Co., and he served as a consultant to Rich Santulli, CEO of NetJets, a Berkshire Hathaway company.

Travis earned his B.A. from DePauw University and received his M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Rafael Pastor

As Vistage CEO from 2004 to 2013, Rafael assembled a talented team and executed important initiatives that propelled Vistage's accelerated growth, expansion and value. In 2012, he transitioned Vistage from its prior owners to its current investors, TowerBrook Capital Partners and Education Growth Partners.

Prior to joining Vistage, Rafael had an extensive background in both leading and advising business enterprises. He held senior executive positions at global media companies as CEO of Hoyts Cinemas Corporation; President of USA Networks International; Executive Vice President, International, of News Corporation and Fox Television; and President of CBS/Fox Video International. In these positions, he dealt with all aspects of the film, television and publishing businesses in the United States and throughout the world. Subsequently, he co-founded the Sonenshine Pastor investment banking firm, now Sonenshine Partners, in New York City.

Rafael started his career as an attorney, first at the Wall Street law firm of Hawkins, Delafield and Wood and then as Associate General Counsel at CBS Inc. He earned a BA from Columbia University and a JD from NYU School of Law, serves on the boards of several not-for-profit organizations, and speaks several languages.

Ian Sacks

Ian is a Managing Director at TowerBrook Capital Partners. He focuses on healthcare and business services related investments. Ian was previously a Venture Partner with Soros Private Equity. Ian was Chairman and CEO of HelpCare, a healthcare services business, which he sold in 2004. Prior to that, he was a Partner at MESA Partners, an investment and advisory firm in New York. Prior to MESA, he was a consultant with APM, the largest healthcare management consulting firm in the U.S., which was sold to Computer Science Corporation.

Ian earned a B.S. in quantitative economics from Tufts University.

Leon D. Shapiro

Leon was named CEO of Vistage effective March 31, 2013. He is also a Director at The Advisory Board Company (NASDAQ: ABCO) and eTouches Inc.

Between 2007 and 2011, Leon served as Senior Vice President, Strategy and Operations, at Warner Music Group. From 2005 to 2006, he served as Group President of The NPD Group, Inc., a global provider of consumer and retail information, where he led all of their entertainment and technology related businesses.

From 1989 to 2004, Leon was with Gartner, Inc., the leading provider of research and analysis on the global information technology industry, where he served as President, Gartner Executive Programs and was a member of the Gartner Leadership Team. Previously, Leon was Senior Vice President and General Manager of Gartner Community, which included Gartner's Worldwide Events, Best Practices and Executive Programs business divisions.

Leon earned his bachelor's degree in economics and political science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel.
