Business leader Gary Schulz launches new Vistage Group in the Central Valley of California

Unique peer advisory approach drives leadership development and business growth

San Diego, February 12, 2020 — Business leader and former ag industry consultant Gary Schulz recently launched a new Vistage group in the Central Valley of California. The group is comprised of high caliber executives from non-competing industries who will meet monthly to discuss business issues, share expertise and design confidential solutions to help achieve both professional and personal goals. This type of peer advisory group is central to Vistage’s unique approach to leadership development. Gary is part of a community of more than 1,000 Vistage Chairs worldwide who lead local groups.

“I am blessed to work with these dynamite CEOs who have chosen to join our group!” said Gary. “When you find business leaders with the desire and potential to grow and blossom through the Vistage experience, it is very rewarding. I am excited to take my own experiences as a CEO and apply them to Chairing this high performing group.”

Gary brings a wealth of experience to his role as Vistage Chair. He is the former CEO of the Coeur d’Alene Area Chamber of Commerce, World Ag Expo, Raisin Administrative Committee, California Raisin Marketing Board and the Citrus Research Board. He founded his own consulting practice helping a variety of member-driven agricultural business organizations with strategic planning and problem solving. Gary holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Ag Education from Washington State University, a Certificate of Completion from the Institute for Organization Management (a collaboration of the U. S. Chamber of Commerce and the University of Colorado) and has served as an adjunct faculty member for Fresno Pacific University.
