Event Speakers

Harry Leach

From Battlefield Leadership to the Boardroom -- It's Still People Leading People
Harry Leach is an expert historian from the U.S. Army War College and utilizes the Civil War battles of Gettysburg and Antietam to discuss executive leadership. Topics include leadership style (and when to change it), empowerment of trusted subordinates, toxic leadership, dysfunctional work climate, leader vision, and effective communication. Simply, it is all about what the modern leader can learn from analyzing the human triumph - and foibles - of regular people coping with the most tragic and devastating crucible imaginable. Attendees will leave the session challenged to examine their own leadership styles and relationships with their subordinates.
