Event Overview

Performance Management: Managing Front Line Performance and Behavior

Most people start their management career implementing policy. Over time, their job description shifts to more of an emphasis on leadership and setting policy. The very qualities of low maintenance, self-motivation and individual achievement that got people promoted into management may not be the characteristics needed for success as a leader. This Emerging Leader presentation focuses on the transition from co-worker to boss to leader and the role that performance management plays.

In this dynamic presentation, expert speaker, Hunter Lott, will discuss the following:

  • Communication
  • What Most HR Directors Wished Every Supervisor Knew
  • Back to the Future Basics
  • New School Challenges
  • Diversity and Inclusion
