Breakout sessions

Morning Session | From Funnel to Flywheel – Igniting Company Growth

Location/Time: | 7:30 - 8:30 AM

Presenter: Lauren Brady, Director of Growth, RedRover Sales & Marketing Strategy

Only one percent of leads generate revenue for most B2B companies. Marketers waste 99 percent of their time and money on leads that will never become customers. Traditionally, marketing's success has been measured by the ability to generate leads. In theory, through content marketing, a volume of leads pour into the funnel and trickle through to become new revenue which is terribly inefficient. The B2B funnel is broken, and lead volume alone is just a vanity metric. Abandon the archaic funnel and adopt a sales and marketing flywheel using account-based marketing techniques that truly break through and create sustainable growth.

Morning Session | Helping business owners save for retirement: Qualified vs. Non-Qualified options

Location/Time: | 7:30 - 8:30 AM

Presenter: Jonathan Constant, CRPC, Investment Specialist and Joe Few, CLU, ChFC Director of Advanced Markets, The Piedmont Group of Atlanta

Both you and your employees benefit greatly from the opportunity to accumulate assets in tax-advantaged plans for their retirement. Qualified Retirement Plans - like 401(k) Plans - provide that opportunity for all your employees. However, Qualified Plans have contribution limits that affect both you and your most important employees – your key employees. Thus, having a Non-qualified Plan for those key employees also makes a lot of sense. A Non-qualified Plan can create “golden handcuffs”, which assures you that you’ll retain those key employees into the future. We will explore both Qualified and Non-qualified Retirement Plans is this session, sharing best practices, discussing fiduciary protection, and giving a road-map to success with these most important benefits.

Business Succession is as inevitable as death and taxes; however, many business owners fail to properly plan for this unavoidable event. Every exit is just as unique as the individual exiting the business, so there is rarely a “magic bullet” that solves every need, want, and desire. Additionally, business owners often overlook the impact that their exit has on the business, their employees, and their families, as well as their own personal wellbeing; both financially and personally. This session is intended to provide insight into the planning process so that business owners understand the options available to them, the timeframes involved in making such decisions, and the team necessary to implement such a plan.
