“The CounterAttactics presentation was most energetic Vistage meeting I have attended in my 14 years,” said one member. “I am glad I had the opportunity to attend one of Mr. Thurman’s speaking sessions.”

For nearly 25 years, Thurman has presented his unique safety and defense training seminar to audiences worldwide, and has been featured on ABC Wide World of Sports, NBC Sports World and ESPN. His unique presentations include a combination of martial arts, mental awareness techniques, and psychological strategies. CounterAttactics programs are dynamic, informative, and specific to the needs of individuals and organizations.

Thurman’s passion to bring defense training to as many people as possible began in 1989, when his wife was involved in a nearly-fatal robbery. Since that time, he has dedicated himself to developing a street-effective system of defense to help others. The program has attracted national and local media coverage. He has been featured on a number of radio and TV programs, including a guest appearance on “Walker Texas Ranger” with Chuck Norris.
