Phil Barry Launches New Vistage Group in the San Jose Market
San Diego, July 24, 2013 Vistage Chair Phil Barry has recently launched a new chief executive group in San Jose, CA. The Vistage Group will meet monthly to discuss business issues, share expertise, and provide one another confidential help to achieve their goals. Barry joins nearly 400 Vistage Chairs who lead local area groups, which total more than 17,000 members in 15 countries.

Phil Barry is an experienced president/CEO and director with significant accomplishments building highly successful companies. Over the last 35 years he has been a CEO, president and director of 12 different companies from start-ups and turnarounds to mature companies in insurance, technology, automotive, real estate development, alternative energy, banking and media/entertainment. He has held senior executive positions with global insurance broker Marsh & McClennan, dating and relationship portal Matchmaker.com and California Casualty Management Co. His diversified Board experience includes Mosaic Systems, Heritage Bank of Commerce, Alten Solar, Pentech Bank, ExpressLink and Minet Technology Services. Phil has taught courses in time management, sales and communications in a variety of settings including the Stanford University International Student Program.
