San Diego, CA (September 9, 2021) – Vistage Chair Chuck Bartels recently launched a new chief executive group in northeastern Illinois. Bartels was the CEO and co-owner of ManpowerGroup franchises for 31 years and led the staff to achieve successful growth in northeastern Illinois, northern Minnesota, and Wisconsin. When ManpowerGroup acquired Bartels’ franchise group, he joined the Global Strategy and Talent team. There he developed and led  knowledge and expertise sharing initiatives that provided local leaders in 80 countries opportunities to learn from one another and achieve better outcomes. Bartels led community-wide not-for-profit, professional and civic organizations, especially public/private partnerships. He served as a board member for a bank, publishing company, hospital, college and county government. Bartels earned an M.Ed.  focused on global human resource development from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
