Joan O. Wright selected as first female Vistage Chair in Charlotte, NC

San Diego, January 26, 2015— Vistage Chair Joan O. Wright has been selected as the first female Chair to serve the Charlotte, NC community, and the second in the state of North Carolina. Wright is in the process of launching her first private advisory group for CEOs, executives and business owners in Charlotte. The new Vistage members will meet monthly to discuss business issues, share expertise, and provide one another confidential help to achieve their goals. Wright is part of a community of more than 400 Chairs worldwide who lead local area groups, which total more than 45,000 members in 40 countries.

Her broad understanding of individual leadership and organizational development comes from 25 years in Human Resources Management roles with Wachovia (Wells Fargo), Philip Morris, Citicorp, and GE Capital. Her Master’s Degree in Social Work enables her to help leaders understand important self-awareness issues and individual development, while her many key HR roles with leading corporations gives her the necessary business experience for supporting results-oriented organizational change.
