Gary Kitchen Launches New Vistage Group in Birmingham Market

San Diego, February 10, 2014— Vistage Chair Gary Kitchen has recently launched his second chief executive group in the Birmingham, AL market. The new Vistage group will meet monthly to discuss business issues, share expertise, and provide one another confidential help to achieve their goals. Kitchen is part of a community of more than 400 Vistage Chairs who lead local area groups, which total more than 45,000 members in 15 countries.

Gary Kitchen is a seasoned CEO with over three decades of business-turnaround and crisis management experience, in a broad range of industries, overcoming challenges experienced during startup, growth and downturn accompanied by the ever-present external and internal generated crises. He is a steady hand who understands and embraces the turmoil of managing effectively during these most critical times. In his last crisis assignment, he grew a floundering marketing and logistics franchising startup in the commercial furniture industry from nine locations in the southeastern U.S. to more than 180 locations nationwide and became the largest franchisor in the history of the industry. Kitchen holds a B.S. degree from Ohio University, an M.B.A. from Marshal University and is a CPA.
