Beck Bennett Wins Prestigious Vistage Outside Award
Vistage International, the world’s leading CEO peer advisory membership organization today unveiled its newest annual award! The Vistage Outside Award honors individuals “outside” of Vistage who demonstrate the greatest potential to become a Vistage Chair. Vistage is pleased to announce that the inaugural recipient is Beck Bennett. Bennett burst onto the national scene for his role in leading small, Vistage-like group meetings for kids (and most recently NBA stars), where he asks penetrating questions and inspires the group members to do truly amazing things. (*Note, in last year’s April 1 installment, we announced the launch of Vistage Kidz! We’re not suggesting the AT&T kids commercials were “inspired” by our idea, we’re just sayin’!)
Several Vistage Chairs who agreed to comment (anonymously of course) stated, “The guy is a rock star with huge Vistage Chair potential. His questions really get to the heart of the matter. ‘What’s better, faster or slower?’ It’s amazing. Who does that?” Another Chair added, “I was floored when he got the one kid to do two things at once. We do this at Vistage CEO group meetings all the time, but we’re seasoned, specially trained Vistage Chairs. The fact that this guy did it the way he did shows amazing promise.”
Though Bennett’s work with the kids was impressive, the way he handled Larry, Magic, Bill and Kareem probably put him over the top! The date of the award ceremony will be announced soon. For now, please offer your congratulations to this year’s Vistage Outside Award winner Beck Bennett and share your favorite moment from the AT&T commercials. Happy April 1st!

I can’t think of anyone more deserving. Congratulations Mr. Bennett. Well done!
Beck is a “rock star” Chair – although I’m a little concerned about his group size – and I don’t mean height. Six kids in a room are just not enough to really derive the true value and power of Vistage.
Imagine what those spots would be like if you had 16 kids though! Wow!
The potential for Beck and Vistage is incredible. Starting with those 6 kids as his founding members, in 60 years he could very likely have the longest tenured Vistage group in history, with at least six members having 60 years of membership!
Excellent point!
Tape a cheetah to her back!
You’ve thought about this, haven’t you! 🙂
Beck Bennett was kind enough to respond on Twitter. @leobottary totally awesome. What does this mean? Do i get a trophy or something cool like that?
