Vistage named 43rd among Training Magazine’s 2017 Top 125 Organizations

SAN DIEGO (Feb. 23, 2017) — Training Magazine, the leading business publication for learning and development professionals, has ranked Vistage Worldwide Inc. as the 43rd organization among its Top 125 organizations for training and development. This is the 6th time that Vistage, a global organization that assembles private advisory boards for CEOs and key executives, has been named to the list. The rankings for the 125 leading organizations were unveiled during an awards gala at the Training 2017 Conference and Expo held on January 30-February 1 in San Diego, CA.

“It is an honor to be named among the best of the best in the industry,” said Melanie Proschenko, vice president of learning and development for Vistage Worldwide. “Ongoing learning and development is at the core of our business.”

Vistage invests heavily in training private advisory board leaders, known as Chairs, to ensure they are prepared to guide members through meeting facilitation and one-to-one coaching. Chairs receive continuous education to support growth and executive coaching skills, so they can help CEOs address challenges and seize opportunities. All Chairs are required to complete a six-month learning and development program, and attend workshops periodically throughout the year to ensure they are serving their members effectively.

Now in its 17th year, the Training Top 125 ranking is based on myriad benchmarking statistics such as total training budget; percentage of payroll; number of training hours per employee program; goals, evaluation, measurement, and workplace surveys; hours of training per employee annually; and detailed formal programs. The ranking is determined by assessing a range of qualitative and quantitative factors, including financial investment in employee development, the scope of development programs, and how closely such development efforts are linked to business goals and objectives.
