Vistage member company ConServe named to the 2015 Training Top 125

San Diego, January 15, 2015— Vistage member company ConServe has been named to the 2015 Training Top 125 by Training magazine, the leading business publication for learning and development professionals. The Top 125 ranks companies’ excellence in employer-sponsored training and development programs. The rankings for the 125 leading organizations will be unveiled during an awards gala on February 9 during the Training 2015 Conference & Expo, February 9-11 in Atlanta, GA.

Mark E. Davitt, president of ConServe and Vistage member since 2006, founded ConServe in 1985 in Fairport, NY. ConServe is a top-performing accounts receivable management and collection services company specializing in customized solutions for colleges and universities, government agencies and private lenders. As part of its mission statement “ConServe is dedicated to satisfying the needs of its Clients in a manner consistent with improving the human condition, and that will foster the development of long-term, profitable business relationships with our Clients, our employees, our vendors and the community.”

Lorri Freifeld, editor-in-chief of Training magazine, said: “Congratulations to the 2015 Training Top 125 winners! These organizations proved their commitment to effective training and employee development tied to corporate strategic goals and Kirkpatrick Level 3 and 4 results. The competition was impressive this year as 27 newcomers earned a place on the list. We look forward to recognizing the winners in Atlanta and detailing their achievements and best practices in the January/February 2015 issue of Training magazine.”

Now in its 15th year, the Training Top 125 ranking is based on myriad benchmarking statistics such as total training budget; percentage of payroll; number of training hours per employee program; goals, evaluation, measurement, and workplace surveys; hours of training per employee annually; and detailed formal programs. The ranking is determined by assessing a range of qualitative and quantitative factors, including financial investment in employee development, the scope of development programs, and how closely such development efforts are linked to business goals and objectives.

In-depth profiles of each of the top five companies will appear in the January/February 2015 issue of Training, and more information about the training efforts of all 125 winners will appear in the issue and online at www.trainingmag.com.
