Vistage announces 2018 Colorado Member Excellence Award Winners

Denver, May 22, 2018 Vistage, the world’s leading CEO peer-advisory organization, announced the winners of the 2018 Colorado Member Excellence Awards on Tuesday, May 22 at the Vistage Executive Summit in Denver. The Member Excellence Awards recognize Vistage members who routinely make impactful decisions and go above and beyond to support their groups, employees, families and communities.

James Logan, president and CEO of OneRain and High Sierra Electronics, received the Vistage Leadership Award. During his tenure as a Vistage member, he grew the company value by 40x and successfully sold his companies to an equity capital group thanks to his outstanding business results. Mr. Logan has been a Vistage member since 2001, and is developing the next leaders by placing five of his management team in Vistage groups.

Brad Kopitz, CEO of Artifact Uprising, received the Vistage Impact Award. When he joined Vistage, Kopitz loved the business he was leading but wanted his business to independent with the autonomy to truly shape and create the future of the company. With support and guidance from his Vistage group, Kopitz created and executed a successful plan to acquire Artifact Uprising. Today, as an independent company, his team continues to create joy by honoring the meaningful in their customers’ lives through premium photo products and inventive technology. He has created a strong, intentional culture that reflects his love for Colorado, the outdoors, and a high-energy, collaborative work environment. Artifact Uprising is young, growing, innovative and purposeful.

Ray Singleton, executive vice president of Earthstone Energy, received the Lifetime Achievement Award. During his tenure in Vistage, Singleton has become one of the most respected CEOs in the Denver oil and gas community. He took over as CEO of Earthstone when it was near bankruptcy and valued at only $500,000. After surviving several oil price downturns in this volatile industry, he built the firm to a $40 million NYSE traded company by 2014. Singleton has kept himself at the cutting edge of technical and business knowledge in a continually evolving profession.
