Texas A&M offers Vistage Private Advisory Group for CEOs and Business Owners

San Diego, November 9, 2018 — Vistage Worldwide, Inc., announced today it has entered into an agreement with Texas A&M University authorizing the Mays Business School to offer a Vistage Private Advisory Group for CEOs and business owners through the Center for Executive Development (CED) — the first such program with a major university in the 61-year history of the company.

According to CED Executive Director Brandi Plunkett, 12-16 Founding Members will be selected for the First Aggie Vistage CEO Group, consisting of CEOs, presidents, and owners of non-competing, established companies — with priority given to graduates and former students of Texas A&M. The first of nine full-day meetings in 2019 is scheduled for January 24.

The First Aggie Vistage CEO Group will be led by Vistage Chair Brant Houston, who has been affiliated with Vistage for 27 years as a Member, Group Chair, Best Practice Chair, and Regional Executive. In addition to his experience with Vistage, Brant founded a company and grew it from one to 140 employees over a 27-year period before successfully selling to a public company.

“We are fortunate to have Brant as the leader of this first Group,” says Plunkett. “Having walked in their shoes, he understands the challenges CEOs face in running their companies.”
