Richard Mills Launches New Vistage Group in Minneapolis-St. Paul Market

San Diego, March 7, 2014— Vistage Chair Richard Mills has recently launched a chief executive group in Minneapolis-St. Paul. The new Vistage group will meet monthly to discuss business issues, share expertise, and provide one another confidential help to achieve their goals. Mills is part of a community of more than 400 Vistage Chairs who lead local area groups, which total more than 45,000 members in 15 countries.

Vistage Best Practice Chair Tony Lewis applauded his success: “Richard was great to work with given his passion and tenacity to building a group. Most things in life are not what happens with us but how we deal with it. It’s about attitude, and Richard has lots of “positive attitude.” It showed when I first interviewed him and continued on as the catalyst that will make Richard a great Chair in the Vistage community.”

Richard Mills brings diverse experience from manufacturing, sales and marketing, operations, and leading multiple global locations. He also has an extensive background in government, venture capital, private equity, private and public environments. As the President/CEO of Motion Tech Automation, LLC, he managed elimination of subordinate debt and the expansion of product lines in order to obtain a successful private equity transition. Richard is passionate about higher education, as he has his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from South Dakota State University, an MBA from the University of Minnesota – Carlson School of Management and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology (Dayton, OH).
