Orange County Vistage Chair Larry Cassidy Receives Prestigious 2018 Nourse Award

Orange County, CA (March 26, 2019) — Vistage Worldwide, the world’s leading business performance and leadership advancement organization for small and midsize businesses, is proud to recognize Chair Larry Cassidy with the 2018 Nourse Award. The Nourse (Chair of the Year) Award is presented annually to a Chair who embodies the qualities and attributes of Vistage in performance, engagement and service, while also providing exceptional value to their members.

Before becoming a Vistage Chair, Larry served as a Marine Corps officer, worked in brand management at General Mills and Quaker Oats, assumed marketing and general management roles at Wilson Sporting Goods (division of PepsiCo) and start-up Daiwa Golf, then served as CEO of an LA consumer optics company. He received a degree in marketing and economics from Miami University, and an MBA from Northwestern University.

After two-plus years as a TEC member, Larry chaired his first TEC meeting in January 1987 and has been a Chair with Vistage for more than 32 years, helping executives solve problems in more than 1500 executive advisory group meetings and 14,000 one-to-one coaching discussions. He has chaired seven TEC/Vistage groups, served over 400 members, and currently works with more than 50 Southern California executives in three groups, to solve their business challenges. His mission is to assist each member in becoming the best version of themselves.

Vistage Regional Executive Craig Stevenson said, “Larry is a pillar in the Vistage community, and his commitment to his members and fellow Chairs is truly inspiring.”
