Beth Davis
Petaluma, CA
My business experience
I was the founder and CEO of Boston-based Office Resources, which I sold prior to becoming a Vistage Chair. Prior to that, I served in a VP level sales & marketing capacity in the commercial furniture industry. I have experience in the public sector, as both a budget director and program manager for social service agencies at the state level in Massachusetts. As a facilitator, I have worked with women-led micro businesses. I continue to have an executive coaching practice for entrepreneurs and senior managers to help them enhance their effectiveness in the areas of leadership, professional growth, business success, personal mastery and life design.
My Vistage experience
I have been a Vistage Chair for 12 years—11 years in Boston and now in my first year as a Chair in the North Bay. I am deeply committed to the Vistage mission of increasing the effectiveness and enhancing the lives of chief executives.
My Vistage groups
The geography for Vistage Chief Executive group 588 is a triangle extending primarily from Santa Rosa to Napa to Petaluma. Member companies and CEO experience range from $3 million to $600 million and from 15 to 1,000 employees.
Industries represented include real estate development and property management, mining, building materials, pharmaceutical/medical devices, catering, food service distribution, viticulture and wine brands, online training and education, and insurance/financial services.
The group is approximately 25% female, 75% male. Age range of members is currently 45-60.
Who is the “ideal” Vistage member?
I am passionate about leaders who are connected to a promise they make to the world—a gift that is a purpose greater than the financial success of their businesses. The members of my group are green and growing, committed to their success, their development as leaders and also to the growth of the people who work for them.
