My business experience

My career has spanned more than 40 years with executive positions in Fortune 500 companies, as well as serving as president/CEO of several privately-owned businesses. For the past ten years, I have consulted with emerging and mid-market companies with a particular focus on creating operational excellence by enhancing leadership performance.

My Vistage experience

As a seasoned Vistage Chair, my diverse industry experiences have prepared me to bring wisdom and insight to a wide variety of business issues. Serving as an advisor, coach and facilitator, I help members become more effective leaders, who achieve better results in their businesses and in their personal lives. My focus is on helping members develop more successful teams, improve communication and drive greater accountability for enhanced operational effectiveness.

As a Vistage Chair, I feel graced by the unique opportunity to have a positive impact on the personal and professional lives of my members through caring counsel, loving confrontation and focused accountability.

My Vistage groups

Members of Vistage 87 include leaders in a wide range of industries: environmental solutions, materials inspection, building materials, commercial banking, advertising, corporate business insurance, newspaper publishing, packaging materials, commercial/residential alarm services and commercial SBA loans. One-third of the members are women, and several have been Vistage members for more than 15 years.

Members of Vistage 3164 also include leaders in an array of fields: commercial printing, law, commercial electrical contracting, commercial insurance services, mountain bikes marketing and manufacturing, natural sleep products and ozone-based water technology. Group members are younger, earlier stage entrepreneurs.

I have a BA in Marketing and Advertising from San Jose State University and an MBA from St. Mary’s College. I enjoy traveling, skiing and being a loving parent.
