Valerie Frederickson became a Vistage member eight years ago, only four years after founding her HR consulting company, Valerie Frederickson and Company. In April of 2001, Vistage member Valerie Frederickson entered a two year period in which her human resource consulting business lost two-thirds of its gross revenue and nearly all of her competitors went out of business. Through the advice and support of her fellow members and her Vistage Chair, Valerie gained a broader perspective that enabled her to come out of the downturn more successfully than most of her competitors. This year, Valerie expects to double her current revenue of about $5 or 6 million a year.
