Vistage Member Wendy Shen Honored for Excellence in Business
San Diego, August 13, 2013 Vistage member Wendy Shen has won the 2013 International Women Entrepreneurial Challenge, was honored as one of the 2013 Best 50 Women in Business by NJBIZ, and was named a finalist in the 2013 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards. Wendy Shen is the president and CEO of FLOMO®/Nygala Corp. of Teterboro, New Jersey, and has been a Vistage member since 2006.

Shen grew up in Taiwan, completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Miami, and received her MBA from Pace University in New York City. After graduation, she started Nygala Corp. The company manufactures, designs, and supplies retailers worldwide with quality FLOMO® brand party supplies, school and office supplies, plush toys, gift bags, seasonal decorations, fundraising products, gifts, and more. FLOMO was named one of the Top 5000 of the Nation’s Fastest Growing Businesses in 2011 by Inc. 5000. Shen is also a member of the Women Presidents’ Organization and a board member of the Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey.
Nearly 500 people gathered at the Palace in Somerset Park on March 21, 2013 to honor the 2013 class of New Jersey’s Best 50 Women in Business award recipients. The prestigious eighth annual awards program recognized women who share a commitment to business growth, professional excellence, and their communities.
The Manhattan Chamber of Commerce will honor the three 2013 IWEC Awardees at an Annual Conference hosted by the Lima Chamber of Commerce in Peru from November 10 to November 13.They will be joined by 30 awardees from around the globe as well as chamber executives and guests.
