Vistage Chair Bruce Merrell launches new private advisory board for chief executives in Tacoma, WA

San Diego, September 16, 2015— Vistage Chair Bruce Merrell has recently launched a new chief executive group in the Tacoma, WA market. The new Vistage members will meet monthly to discuss business issues, share expertise, and provide one another confidential help to achieve their goals. Merrell is part of a community of more than 800 Chairs worldwide who lead local area groups, which total more than 45,000 members in 35 countries.

Bruce Merrell is a seasoned veteran of corporate and entrepreneurial battles with a passion for building businesses and their leaders. He has served as CEO for seven companies over his 30 year career. He has led the growth of business entities from a venture backed start-up to one over several hundred million in revenue. Specifically he grew from one entity from $18M to over $370M in just 8 years. His experience spans several industries including, oil & gas, consumer products and software as a service (SaaS). He has a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah.
