San Diego, January 30, 2012 Vistage Chair Michelle Stronz has recently launched a new Chief Executive group in Hartford. The Chief Executive Vistage group will meet monthly to discuss business issues, share expertise, and provide one another confidential help in critical situations. Stronz joins nearly 400 Vistage Chairs who lead local area groups, which total more than 15,000 members in 15 countries.

Michelle Stronz is a former industrial development CEO and global entrepreneur who has served leaders in New England, the US, and around the world. As an entrepreneur, she has led development projects for the world’s leading employers in China and the Middle East and helped to secure funding for hundreds of new industrial employers. Michelle has developed more than 16 industrial parks. She designed and launched the region’s largest Enterprise Zone, developed a $60 million defense diversification proposal, built a cross-sector partnership to support a public-private Advanced Technology Center, and attracted sustainable funding as the founding director of UConn’s Center for Leadership. Michelle has a BS in Journalism from Ohio University, and MPA from University of Washington in international development, and an EdD from Columbia University in organizations and leadership.
