San Diego, October 24, 2013— Vistage Chair Mark Shapiro has recently launched a new chief executive group in Chicago, IL. The new Vistage group will meet monthly to discuss business issues, share expertise, and provide one another confidential help to achieve their goals. Shapiro is joining a community of more than 400 Vistage Chairs who lead local area groups, which total more than 17,000 members in 15 countries.

Mark Shapiro has over 30 years’ business experience that includes roles in marketing management, to president, corporate strategist, consultant and CEO. He has worked for both large cap and small cap companies, public and private ownership, and in domestic and international geographies. His accomplishments include driving profitable growth in both mature and growth industries, as well as leading cultural change in support of the business mission. Mark has a Bachelor’s degree from Union College in Schenectady, NY, and a Masters in Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
