Improving named #1 Best Place to Work by Dallas Business Journal

Dallas, Texas, October 5, 2011 – Improving Enterprises was named #1 Best Place to Work by the Dallas Business Journal in the medium size company category. This marks the second year in a row that Improving Enterprises made the Top 20 list. Barry Rogers, the President of Improving Enterprises, is a member of Vistage International, the world’s leading Chief Executive organization.

The 2011 honorees of the tenth annual Best Places to Work Awards were highlighted at a ceremony at the Hyatt Regency, where the rankings of the top small, medium and large companies were revealed. In addition, each company was honored in a special DBJ publication.

“Improving believes in a common set of values focused on individuals and their interactions. How we communicate and treat individuals – employees, candidates, and customers is of utmost importance to us. Winning #1 Best Place to Work is a huge testament to the importance of our belief system. We believe that teamwork remains our ultimate competitive advantage,” stated Rogers.

Honorees were chosen based on comprehensive scores taken from in-depth employee surveys administered by QMR Corporation, an independent research firm.  The companies chosen as the Dallas Business Journal’s Best Places to Work were those that received the top best-practice scores. The best practice scores are 90 or higher for small companies (10-99 North Texas employees), 87 or higher for midsize companies (100 to 499 employees) and 85 or higher for large companies (500 or more local employees).

Pariveda Solutions Inc. and Texas AirSystems were also named among the Top 20 medium size companies in Dallas in 2011. A number of the executives within those companies are also members of Vistage International.
