Lopez is part of a community of 13 local Chairs, and more than 400 worldwide, whose groups of CEOs, executives, and business owners meet monthly to process pressing business issues and opportunities. In his new group, Lopez will lead the discussion while holding members accountable for following through and taking action. Arturo G. Lopez serves as founder and chief executive officer of AGLH, managing a vast portfolio of private and family-owned businesses. Inc. Magazine and Capital One selected Lopez as the “Spotlight” for small business. He was selected by his industry peers as one of Houston’s Top 30 Under 30, and was selected by Latino Leader’s Magazine as a “Leader of the Future.” Lopez is a board member on the Lupus Foundation and is the Houston President of the Tulane Alumni Business Association. He and his wife Elena have been featured as one of Health, Fitness, and Sports Magazine’s “Charity Angels.” He graduated cum laude on the dean’s list with a Master of International Business from the University of St. Thomas Center of Excellence in 2007. He also completed the Certified Financial Planner Program at Rice University in 2010 and holds a Master of Finance from Tulane University, 2012.
