Bismarck, ND business community welcomes Jon Jennings’ newest Vistage chief executive group

San Diego, September 9, 2016— Vistage Chair Jon Jennings has recently launched a new chief executive group in the Bismarck, North Dakota market. Jennings will help his CEO group members get results using a proprietary issue processing method to tackle their most challenging business questions. More than [mbr-member] executives, business owners and CEOs around the world rely on local area groups to get the most out of their businesses.

Vistage Regional Executive Dave Bartel applauded his success: “Jon is one of those thoughtful leaders that I feel draws the best out of people. Putting his members first and supporting them has been Jon’s practice and one that serves his members and the community well.”

A former President and CEO of North Dakota Concrete Products, Jon Jennings brings over 35 years of diverse and substantive experience to his role as Group Chair for Vistage International. Jon’s career began as a civil engineer with Veigel Engineering, the predecessor of KLJ. He spent a short time as the county engineer for Burleigh County and then joined North Dakota Concrete Products in January of 1981 as a technical sales engineer. He was responsible for launching several innovative processes and products in that capacity. In 1991 he was named the President of the company. In his 13 years in that capacity the company grew from 2 locations and 75 employees to 4 locations and 140 employees. Jon’s experience in growing a company convinced him that Vistage would help other executives avoid some of the pitfalls that he experienced. When not working with CEOs and senior executives, he is husband of 44 years to Karen, father to Karmin and Ted, and grandfather to Megan and Paige. He is a longtime member of the Bismarck-Mandan Chamber of Commerce. He enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, golf, doing yard work, and brewing his own wine.
